Madrid Underground Flamenco (MUF) is a musical Project within an aim of diffusion of the most interesting european musical movement of the last 15 years.
MUF stands representing the fusion between Latin, Flamenco and the most contemporary jazz, which has been mixing together since the September the 11th attack, when rekown new york latin jazzmen moved to the Spanish capital.
The integration of the American jazz, Latin jazz and the avant-garde Madrid flamenco and its wide diffusion is the objective of this musical project.
Luis Gallo directs a group of four prestigious Spanish musicians in this project. Among them there are national flamenco prizes, London Covent Garden Orchestra soloists and reknown flamenco maestros.
Madrid Underground Flamenco (MUF) consiste en un proyecto de difusión cultural del movimiento musical más interesante en Europa de los últimos 15 años.
MUF son las siglas que representa la fusión entre al Jazz latino, el Flamenco y el Jazz más contemporáneo, fusión que se ha ido gestando en Madrid desde los atentados del 11 de Septiembre, cuando reconocidos Jazzmen newyorkinos de origen latino decidieron cambiar su lugar de residencia a nuestra capital.
Esa integración del Jazz americano, Latino, el Flamenco de la capital y las nuevas tendencias es lo que este proyecto quiere difundir.
El proyecto, dirigido por Luis Gallo, consta de un grupo de cuatro músicos españoles de prestigio entre los que hay premios nacionales de Flamenco o colaboradores de la Covent Garden Orchestra de Londres.
